RHS Sticks It to Cancer

On Thursday, April 24, the Ridgefield High School Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams will be hosting their annual "Stick It To Cancer" Event at Tiger Hollow. (Girls at 4:15 p.m. and Boys at 6 p.m.)! This event is a collaboration of the RHS Club Youth American Cancer Society (YACS), RHS Athletics and the American Cancer Society to raise money for the fight against cancer.

Cancer is everywhere. This disease touches everyone, no matter where you go, you'll find many people who have been touched by cancer. Whether it's your mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, friend, neighbor, or teacher, everyone knows someone who has had the disease.

During Thursday's games, our lacrosse players will be wearing pink to help promote Breast Cancer awareness along with raffles, a pre-game and halftime presentations, and decorations.

The RHS Lacrosse Program is sticking together to "Stick It To Cancer"! We hope to see you all there!

Go Tigers!
