Looking for something to do this weekend? Take your family to see the Ridgefield High School Visual & Performing Arts Department's latest production, "Meet Me in St. Louis."
It's a family-friendly show that follows a year in the life of the Smith family as their excitement builds in anticipation of the 1904 World's Fair to be held in St. Louis. You're sure to recognize some of the timeless classics, such as "The Trolley Song," "The Boy Next Door," and of course the title song, "Meet Me in St. Louis."
Director Joyce Flanagan stresses that this uplifting musical is suitable for the entire family. The final three shows are this weekend, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. All tickets are $10, general admission and are sold at the door. Ridgefield seniors with a town Gold Card may enjoy one show for free.
