The Ridgefield Playhouse Presents: Shakespeare on the Green

First Niagara Bank and The Ridgefield Playhouse will present the 9th Annual Green Expo and Shakespeare on the Green on Saturday, August 9.

The "how to live green" fair runs from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and is open to everyone, whether or not attending Shakespeare's romantic comedy "Two Gentlemen of Verona", which will take place under a tent for a seated audience at 2 p.m. The Expo is the biggest ever with many unique services, foods and product demonstrations. Not only will the experts explain how to live green, they will offer food tastings plus luncheon fare for sale, free massages and all kinds of information about sustainability in the home and workplace. Tickets are free but must be reserved ahead (limit 5 per family, first come first served) by calling the box office at 203-438-5795. Anyone may attend the Green Expo. Anyone who wants to see "Two Gentlemen of Verona" who does not currently have reserved tickets should check with the box office between 1 & 2 p.m. on August 9 for possible returned tickets.
