Want to end distracted driving? Head to the Ridgefield Library tomorrow

End Distracted Driving with Joseph G. Walsh will take place on Thursday, July 31, 7 PM. This program is part of the Library's Adult Summer Reading program and is made possible thanks to the Friends of the Ridgefield Library.

Join us for a program called End Distracted Driving with local attorney Joseph G. Walsh. This program is aimed at teens and adults. Registration is recommended.

Distracted driving results in thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands of injuries each year. This educational, informative and inspiring talk will present the sobering statistics of our current safety crisis, share true stories of the costs of Distracted Driving, and offer simple steps that drivers can use immediately to help themselves and others around them end distracted driving.

Ridgefield resident Joseph Walsh is a principal at Cohen and Wolf's Litigation Department. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce. He is a manager in Ridgefield Babe Ruth Baseball, and head coach in both CYO basketball and the Ridgefield Basketball Association, in which he's been involved since 1989. Mr. Walsh has been a member of the Ridgefield Community Coalition Against Substance Abuse since the group's inception in 2004.
