An Evening with Sig Hansen & Friends of The Northwestern from Deadliest Catch will be on stage at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, September 13, 2014, 7:30 pm
Sigurd Jonny "Sig" Hansen is an American Captain of the fishing vessel Northwestern. Sig knows more about fishing than just about anyone and is here to tell you about it along with his friends from the Northwestern and his hit show "The Deadliest Catch." So far, he has not suffered any major accidents on his ship, but he has come very close, braving horrendous weather and waves that have almost sunk the boat.
Others from Deadliest Catch will be joining him on stage to share their stories, as well. This TV show portrays the events that take place on fishing boats in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab fishing season. You don't have to be a fisherman to be intrigued by what they have to say.
