“A Whole New You” when Lyn Evans Fall Charity Fashion Show comes to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, October 9

Nothing like a little shopping therapy to create “a whole new you” and lift spirits this fall.  It’s couture for a high cause when The Ridgefield Playhouse turns into a design house on Thursday, October 9 (new date), and local celebrity models strut their stuff for charity in fashion forward clothing and accessories from Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs. The fun evening kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with hors-d’oeuvre courtesy of Sagi Cucina Italiana, accessories from Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs and make-up applications compliments of Adam Broderick Salon & Spa. The professional fashion show starts at 7:30 p.m. with the woman who started it all, Lyn Evans Shotkus co-hosting this evening of fun and fashion! Addessi Jewelers (387 Main St., Ridgefield) will provide two exquisite items for a silent auction, and all proceeds above minimum bid will be donated to RVNA celebrating its 100^th anniversary this year.  In addition, the models will be wearing other handpicked jewelry provided by Addessi to complement their ensembles. To make the evening even more exciting, Addessi will also provide five $500.00 in-store gift certificates, which will be randomly awarded to five audience attendees.  Sagi Cucina Italiana (23-1/2 Catoonah St., Ridgefield) will pour a complimentary glass of house wine or beer with dinner the night of this event when tickets are shown. This event is part of HamletHub’s “A Whole New You Series” and is underwritten by Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs and Adam Broderick Salon & Spa and is partially underwritten by Cucumber & Chamomile.

Totally accessorized, put-together outfits with mix-and-match elements will help reinvigorate a fall-to-winter wardrobe.  Dresses, skirts, pants, tops, leggings, sweaters, jackets, handbags, shoes and top-flight accessories by popular designers will hit the runway to help everyone create a signature look, for a fun fall getaway or glam holiday ensemble.
