Happening This Weekend: Doggie Talent Show, Face Painting, Popcorn, Ice Cream, DJVibes, Doggie Fun Zone and Pet Photo Booth are all happening at the ROAR Dog Walk

Lots of fun things will be happening at the 8th Annual Blue Buffalo/ROAR Paws for the Cause Dog Walk on Sunday October 5th at 12 noon in Ballard Park.  NEW this year is the Doggie Talent Show starting at 1 pm with celebrity judges Adam Broderick, Anita Donofrio, Officer Shawn Murray and Connie Packard Kamedulski, owner of Animal Fair.  The four categories are Best Trick, Best Kisser, Best Dressed and Best Smile. Winners in each of these will vie for the grand prize, “Celebrity Scooper for a Day at Carvel”. The Celebrity Scooper gets to create their very own flavor and help serve ice cream to family, friends and customers on a date of their choice. All participants will help lead the Dog Walk. Kids 12 and under only.

The fun continues as Rich Sica will hand out ice cream treats for both dogs and humans, Gabe and Georgia of DJVibes will be spinning tunes all day, face painting, and S.P.H.E.R.E. will be popping “movie-style” popcorn. Dr. Blaine Langberg, DDS, will host a photo booth located at the end of the Doggie Fun Zone agility course, where you and your best friend can capture the fun of it all.

Come on by for a family and pet-friendly day and help support the ROAR Donofrio Animal Shelter.  Register for the Walk at www.roar-ridgefield.org or in person at Ballard Park the day of the Walk.
