Two from Ridgefield , Bob Reby and Nick Perna, headline Danbury’s first major Economic Symposium “The Economy and You”
Free event to be held October 16th at Ives Concert Hall, Western Connecticut State University Midtown Campus
The area’s first major economic symposium, The Economy and You, will be hosted by long time Ridgefielder, Bob Reby, CEO of Reby Advisors and feature famed international economist Nick Perna , an advisor to Webster Bank and Ridgefield resident. Perna will share his predictions on Will the Jobless Recovery Continue. Additional speakers include Western Connecticut State University, President Dr. James Schmotter and Western Connecticut Health Network’s CEO, Dr. John Murphy. The event is free of charge and area residents are encouraged to spend the evening with local Education, Business and Healthcare leaders discussing current economic trends, technological developments and how to succeed in today’s economy. Event will kick –off with a Welcome Session at 5:30pm followed by speaker program at 6:00 pm
