Being able to relive the incomparable comedy and spirit of the Blues Brothers will be a great evening at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, March 14, at 8 p.m. when The Official Blues Brothers Revue, produced by Dan Aykroyd and Judith Belushi with Musical Director Paul Shaffer, brings back the live concert extravaganza that was the Blues Brothers. With the humor and set list from the original film and albums, Wayne Catania “is” Jake and Kieron Lafferty “is” Elwood. They will play the classics such as “Soul Man,” “Rubber Biscuit,” “Sweet Home Chicago,” “Rawhide” and “Gimme Some Lovin”. Paul Shaffer is known for his work with Saturday Night Live and Late Night with David Letterman. Bissell House (378 Main St., Ridgefield) is offering a free glass of house wine or draught beer with dinner the night of the show when tickets/stubs are presented.
