Ridgefielders Prepare for Wiremill Production of Into the Woods

Come out to support talented Ridgefield actors and actresses in the Wiremill production of Into the Woods.

Into the Woods, a musical written by Steven Sondheim, tells the story of all Grimm storybook characters coming together in one production to achieve their own wishes. The baker and his wife go into the woods to lift a witch’s curse; The prince goes into the woods to find his love; Little Red Riding Hood goes through the woods to visit her grandmother. Other characters have different reasons for going into the woods, and that is where their stories collide.

The Spring production, directed by Beverly and Kirby Ward, features several of Ridgefield’s own. Some Ridgefield actors and actresses include Michael Shofi (Class of 2016) as the Baker; Olivia Basile (2016) as the Baker's Wife; Tyler Carey (2017) as Jack; Sarah Ford (2017) as the Witch; Rosie Staudt (2017) as Cinderella; Aidan Meachem (2017) as the Wolf; Amy Stoogenke (2017) as Granny; Rico Froehlich (2017) as the Mysterious Man.
