Ridgefield Rewinds: Super 70's Summerfest on Saturday, July 18 from 10 am to 4 pm in downtown Ridgefield
How do we top last year’s “Summerfest ’64?” By donning our Jordache Jeans and leisure suits to boogie on back to the days of 8-tracks, roller disco, Pet Rocks and Space Invaders. The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce presents Ridgefield Rewinds: Super 70's Summerfest!
CAR SHOW, VENDORS, CRAFTERS, HOME & GARDEN BUSINESS EXPO, MUSIC, and MORE! Ridgefield will rewind with a town-wide time-warp and we want you to be a part of it! Main Street will be closed to car traffic from Governor Street to Prospect Street, with classic cars lining the streets, and merchants, vendors, crafters, and artisans offering their wares. There will be a Business Expo on Bailey Avenue. The Main Stage, at the corner of Bailey and Main, will be hopping all day long as bands will play the ’70s greatest hits, from You’re So Vain to I Will Survive to Stayin’ Alive. Can you dig it? Food and beverages will be offered—but with modern tastes in mind: that is, no Tab or Hamburger Helper allowed.

The Ridgefield Summerfest committee is asking everyone to help transform the town with a contest where businesses compete for the best 70's Throwback ideas, displays, costumes, and overall theme. Follow this link for thematic ideas, '70s "look" and colors. [brandfolder.com]
- The Contest: Best 70s Throwback - Prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place & 3rd Place
- Set up your displays ahead of time if you're ready to promote the event and for added publicity for your business
- We'll be posting on Social Media and providing media outlets with news!
- Every business that enters will be listed as a "Throwback" participant
- Entries will be judged the day of Summerfest - then announced on the Bandstand with ribbons to be displayed at your location
- Winning businesses will receive post-event publicity and all participating businesses will attract people during the event!
Last year, everyone loved rewinding to the '60s. Let's get in the spirit and make this event even better!
