109 Cheese, The Garden of Ideas & Actress Khristee Rich "Feed the Body, Expand the Mind" series

The Garden of Ideas in Ridgefield will present a live performance by  actress Khristee Rich on Wednesday, July 8 from 12:30 to 2pm, as part of their popular Garden Lunch: Feed the Body, Expand the Mind series.

Khristee Rich, a character actress, comedienne and writer now residing in Los Angeles, will present a brief reading from her new play, “Afro-Fabulous!” along with a short story which inspired the play. This one-women show is based on Khristee’s life growing up in Ridgefield and all of the hair drama she experienced on her way to pursuing a professional acting career. Khristee’s motto is to spread joy and laughter in this delightful sneak peer of her new show before it becomes a full staged production. The Garden Lunches provide an opportunity to enjoy the lush sanctuary of the Garden of Ideas inviting guests to either bring lunch or purchase a delectable sandwich or salad provided by 109 Cheese, then sit back and enjoy a live performance. The cost to attend is $5 or $3 if a CSA member. This excludes the price of a purchased lunch. The performance will either be outside in the gardens of if inclement weather within the Garden’s greenhouse.

The Garden of Ideas is a non-profit garden sanctuary located 653 North Salem Road, Ridgefield CT. The gardens are open daily, 8am to dusk, to visit. There is no fee to tour the grounds. For more information please visit gardenofideas.com or call 203.431.9914.
