Midsummer's Bounty with Chef Susie Buckley at The Garden of Ideas on July 11

It’s time to enjoy the midsummer gifts of the garden. The third session of The Garden of Ideas Cooking Classes will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 1-2:30 pm at The Garden of Ideas in Ridgefield.  

Tomatoes, tomatoes, and more tomatoes! In this class Chef Susie Buckley will prepare several tomato dishes, whip up some marinades for grilling and prepare seasonal vegetables from the gardens. It’s that’s once a year TOMATO TIME! and this is the class not to be missed. Tastings and recipes are included and children 8 and up are welcome along with an adult.

The cost is $25 per person.  Children between the ages of 8 and 12 are free with a maximum of 2 children per family. If you’re a CSA member the cost is $22. Please visit thegardenofideas.com or call 203.431.9914 to register or for more information.

The Garden of Ideas is a non-profit garden sanctuary located at 653 North Salem Road, Ridgefield, CT. The gardens are open daily, 8am until dusk, to visit. There is no fee to tour the grounds.
