RVNA Presents “Plan, Prepare and Protect: Strategies as We Age”

Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA) is organizing a lunch n’ learn informative talk on Wednesday, October 14.  The topic concerns which legal documents to have in place (plan), housing options for seniors and how to finance them (prepare), and strategies for protecting assets in the event of long-term care (protect).  The presenter is elder law attorney Ann L. Fowler-Cruz of Cohen and Wolf, P.C.   

This event, which will take place from noon to 1:30 pm, is open to the public. Lunch will be provided by Glen Crest.  Attendees should RSVP to Glen Crest at 203-790-9161. Glen Crest is located at 3 Glen Hill Road in Danbury.

About The Speaker

Ann L. Fowler-Cruz is of counsel to Cohen and Wolf, P.C. where she is a member of the firm's Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Groups. Ms. Fowler-Cruz’s elder law practice focuses on long-term care planning, asset preservation strategies, Medicaid applications, disability planning, utilizing conservatorships/guardianship and special needs trusts.  Her estate planning practice includes the creation of wills, trusts, and advance directives. Ms. Fowler-Cruz also handles probate administration.  Ms. Fowler-Cruz is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA), the Connecticut Bar Association Sections on Elder Law and Probate & Trusts, the Fairfield County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association.
