New York Times Columnist & best-selling author Frank Bruni at Ridgefield High School on March 6

"Where You Go Is Not Who You’ll Be" with Frank Bruni on March 6 from noon to 3:00 pm at Ridgefield High School

New York Times Columnist and best-selling author Frank Bruni will discuss "Where You Go is Not Who You Will Be" at Ridgefield High School. A series of workshops will follow his talk and book signing.

Mr. Bruni will discuss the importance of helping teens prepare themselves for the adult world by choosing a college that will best foster their inner growth and potential, rather than falling prey to the myth that Ivy League grads have a monopoly on corner offices, governors' mansions and the most prestigious academic and scientific grants. Copies of "Where You Go is Not Who You Will Be: An Antidote to the College Admissions Mania" by Frank Bruni will be available for sale and signing at the event thanks to Books on the Common.

The series, Parenting the Selfie Generation: Raising Successful Adults, is a joint collaboration between Ridgefield Public Schools, the Ridgefield Council of PTAs, Project Resilience, Silver Hill Hospital and the Ridgefield Library.
