Ridgefield Girls Softball (RGS) will be hosting an Open House Pizza Party at the Ridgefield Recreation Center on Sunday, February 21st from 4pm to 6pm. Girls 5 to 14 years old are welcome to attend this event. No registration is necessary and girls may arrive at any time between 4pm and 6pm.
Stations with fun games of hitting, throwing, fielding and base running will be setup for all levels of play. The girls will learn softball fundamentals from experienced coaches, Ridgefield High School players and travel players. All participants will receive goodies and a free T-shirt.
RGS is a non-profit organization operating under the national Babe Ruth Softball charter. RGS, using regulation competitive softball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play, as well as, developing strong friendships among our players.
