Ridgefield’s Southwest Cafe is preparing for their 10th annual Margarita 5K Run. This sunset 5K that promises a margarita at the finish line supports Sunrise Cottage, Ridgefield’s housing community for residents with disabilities. Ridgefielders of all ages are invited to run, but those 21 and over have an extra incentive: a free margarita at the finish line.
Becoming increasingly more popular each year, last year’s event reached a new high of 350 participants. For its 10th year, Southwest Cafe is excited for an even larger turnout. With greater attendance, they hope to raise more awareness and continue to give back to the community.
