RVNA Presents Cooking with Essential Oils on June 19

Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA) is organizing a nutritional presentation on Tuesday, July 19th entitled “Cooking with Essential Oils” at the RVNA Center for Exceptional Care. Wouldn’t it be a nice alternative to put the essence of a flower or herb into your recipes to create another level of interest to your food? This is a healthier alternative to the chemicals and artificial flavoring that is added to food to do the same thing. How is this accomplished?

Join RVNA Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator, Meg Whitbeck and DoTerra Wellness Advocate, Kate Fitzpatrick for an informative demonstration on cooking with essential oils in our RVNA teaching kitchen. Learn how to incorporate flavorful essential oils into dressings, sauces, dips and desserts. And since July is “National Ice Cream Month,” plan on enjoying some fun essential oil infused ice cream treats! This presentation will take place on Tuesday, July 19, from 12:30pm – 1:30pm in the RVNA Teaching Kitchen. This event is free and open to the public. Attendees should RSVP to RVNA at 203-438-5555. RVNA is located at 27 Governor Street, Ridgefield.
