It’s a night of laughs when 13 brand new comics make their debut on June 8 at The Ridgefield Playhouse

The students of the Comedy Writing Workshop have spent eight weeks writing and practicing their comedy bits and are ready to take them to the stage!  Don’t miss the debut of Christine O’Leary’s talented new group of comedians on Wednesday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse.  These hysterical (and brave) new comics include Joe Aulogia, LouAnn Daprato, Traci Edwards, Rob Flood, Eileen Fickes, Jane Golenbock, Dimitri Giatrakis, Renee Hewitt, Sue Ellen Landwehr, Nichola O’Donnell, P.J. Schimmel, Vicki Sanchez and Tony Sanchez.

The performance is hosted by Christine O’Leary an award-winning comedienne and teacher.  O'Leary’s Workshop at the Playhouse has become the most popular of The Ridgefield Playhouse class offerings.  Her off-the-cuff interactions and improv are the forte of her comedy, and storytelling is her crafted skill.  O’Leary urges people to attend the Comedy Graduation Showcase "...to see these hysterical newborn comics who had more guts than you did eight weeks ago when they signed up!”

For tickets to the Graduation Showcase ($12) or to register for the Stand-up Comedy Workshop ($300), call the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse, (203) 438-5795. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT
