The featured musical act is the jazz funk band Galactic with renowned vocalist Erica Falls. Opening for Galactic is Connecticut’s own Argonaut & Wasp.
Come early at 6:45 to enjoy wine provided by No. 109 Cheese & Wine while viewing Zac’s work. Music begins at 7:30pm.

It’s been more than 20 years since saxophonist Ben Ellman, bassist Robert Mercurio, drummer Stanton Moore, guitarist Jeff Raines and Hammond organist Rich Vogel began exploring the seemingly limitless musical possibilities born out of their work together as Galactic. Originally formed in 1994, the group was started when childhood friends Raines and Mercurio, moved to New Orleans together to attend college at Tulane and Loyola Universities, and became enamored of the local funk scene. Inspired by legendary acts such as The Meters and Dirty Dozen Brass Band and local legends such as Professor Longhair, the band has developed a unique sound as a result, including: hip hop, electronic, world music, rock, blues and jazz. Joining them on stage this night is vocalist Erica Falls who, as a backup singer, has appeared or recorded with heavyweights from John Fogerty to Irma Thomas to Sting. She’s performed in films, festivals and is moving her way up from that “20 feet from Stardom” that people know her from all too well.
