RVNA Presents Off to College: Strategies for Healthful Eating in College and Beyond

Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA) is offering a nutritional presentation titledOff to College: Strategies for Healthful Eating in College and Beyond” at the RVNA Center for Exceptional Care.

If you are heading off to college this fall, you may be worried about potential weight gain due to late night studying, endless dining hall food choices and the lack of mom’s healthy home-cooked meals. Join RVNA Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator, Meg Whitbeck as she shares her strategies for success! She will show you how to prepare healthy food in your dorm room using only a microwave and basic dishes and utensils. This presentation is being offered Tuesday, August 2 or Tuesday, August 9 from 7-8pm. The fee is $25 and is open to the public. Attendees should RSVP to 203-438-5555. RVNA is located at 27 Governor Street, Ridgefield.
