Keeler Tavern Museum Antiques & Treasures Sale is August 19-20

Keeler Tavern Museum, 132 Main Street, Ridgefield, is celebrating the 21st anniversary of its Antiques and Treasures Sale. This free event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, August 19 and 20, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 21. Early buying is available on Friday, August 19 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for a fee of $10 per person. Free parking is available on site and across the street at the First Congregational Church.

The Museum will host the sale in its beautiful Garden House designed by Cass Gilbert, as well as in the Charleston-style garden, tented terrace, and historic carriage barn. All proceeds will help support the Museum’s educational initiative, programs, and help to maintain the property.

The Garden House will showcase elegant furniture and accessories in room vignettes, as well as offer fine estate jewelry, vintage dolls, collectible books, metal soldiers, and unique 19th century traveling desks, many antique clocks and other collectibles. Join the throngs and survey the beautiful room vignettes where everything is for sale, including oriental carpets, furniture, china, crystal, linens, silver, mirrors, lamps, paintings, and other accessories. The charming walled garden will display outdoor furniture while the tented terrace will offer country and contemporary furniture. Finally, in the barn, visitors will find hundreds of small donated treasures, as well as other furniture. Whether you are searching for classic antiques or contemporary furniture for your home or for a college student, you are sure to find a large selection at reasonable prices.
