CANCELED DUE TO ILLNESS: Community Sing-along on Sunday January 22 at Ridgefield Library

Community Sing-along on Sunday January 22 from 3-4 pm at Ridgefield Library is CANCELED DUE TO ILLNESS.

Singing together as a community not only brings us together physically, but helps create a community of compassion, empathy and common bonds. Singing the Great American Songbook with patriotic, musical theater, folk and popular songs bring us together and lifts all our spirits.

The community sing-along is hosted by Edwin Taylor, Music Minister of the First Congregational Church, Faith Ferry Taylor, his musically gifted wife and soloist, and Deborah Katchko-Gray, cantor of Congregation Shir Shalom of Westchester and Fairfield Counties.

It is a gift to the community, with no charge to any participants. Books are provided for the singalong and people are welcome to bring small instruments to add to the spirit and sound.

The songbooks were created in the spirit of Pete Seeger- “Get America Singing Again!”.

Please join us at our first sing-along of 2017 on January 22 from 3-4 pm in the downstairs large program room at the Ridgefield Library. 472 Main Street. www.ridgefieldlibrary.org
