On April 29, Main Street will witness a re-enactment of the 1777 Battle of Ridgefield. Before that happens, our History Trivia Contest will re-enact a battle of wits. Enter your team, get a little help from your friends, and claim the coveted Fountain Trophy.
Who Can Enter: Teams of up to six contestants.
You Win By: Knowing American history. What a Revolutionary idea!
Contest-within-the-Contest: The antique battle print superimposed with cartoon bubbles has become the informal symbol of the trivia contest. This year, the cartoon bubbles are Beatles-themed, with Benedict Arnold voicing different appropriate (or subversive) titles or lyrics. See the images in the slideshow above.
