St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is holding a free community dinner on Sunday, April 2, in North Hall, 351 Main St. in Ridgefield. This is last in the church’s current series of community dinners. Friends, neighbors and the entire community are invited to drop in anytime between 5:00-6:30 to share a delicious classic Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu includes hummus and pita bread, chicken kebabs, vegetarian kebabs, rice pilaf, Lebanese fattoush salad and, for dessert, homemade baklava and semolina cake.
Although this is a free event, donations are gratefully accepted. All monies raised go toward feeding the hungry at a monthly meal the parish provides for the Bridgeport Soup Kitchen.
