The British Invade Ridgefield on Saturday!

Celebrate the 240th anniversary of the Battle of Ridgefield this Saturday, April 29 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Battle of Ridgefield Re-Enactment will begin at 11:00 AM on Main Street.

Witness history before your eyes! Watch a reenactment of the Battle of Ridgefield from Casagmo to Keeler Tavern.

The reenactment will begin with a commencement speech at Town Hall by Ridgefield's First Selectman, Rudy Marconi and then proceed from Casagmo along Main Street to the Keeler Tavern.

But that's not all! A host of 240th battle anniversary events are taking place at The Keeler Tavern.

Visit the soldiers' encampments: the British at Ballard Park and the Patriots at Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center. There will also be period crafters and artisans, free tours of Keeler Tavern Museum, period music by the Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra, and fun family activities.
