Ridgefield Library, Ridgefield Community Coalition Against Substance Abuse and Ridgefield Prevention Council present: Marijuana and Alcohol: Just the Facts Without the Fiction with Dr. Alicia Farrell on Tuesday, May 30 at 7 PM at Ridgefield Library.

Join us for this parenting workshop presented by Alicia Farrell, Ph.D. Parents and teens are welcome!         

Come learn about: 

- How marijuana and alcohol use can affect the teen brain.

- Are marijuana and alcohol "gateway" drugs?

- How potent is today's marijuana and why does it matter?

- How do we set boundaries and consequences for teens around drug use that are effective and realistic?

- Is marijuana addictive?

Dr. Alicia Farrell is an accomplished cognitive psychologist, professional  speaker and founder of Clearview Consulting. She has taught for 9 years as a university professor and also has a private practice working with teens, adults,  couples and families.
