CHIRP Free Concerts Brings Celtic and Folk to Ballard Park on Main Street This Week
Tues. July 18th: Cherish the Ladies - a grammy-nominated, celtic music group. Celebrated by the New York Times and the Washington Post, playing at the White House and the Olympics, and touring all over the world, Cherish the Ladies has dominated the Irish music scene over the past 32 years. Thu. July 20th: The Mammals - folk artists dedicated to "raise positive social awareness & have a good party!". Mike + Ruthy, the folk act that founded the band in the 00's, are bringing it back, with the same political statements and community building they always had. Learn more about them here.
