Former Yankee Bernie Williams Performs at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday!

Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Presents: “The Concert for IPF”!  Bernie Williams and his All-Star Band perform at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 8pm as a part of the Evening of Art, Wine & Jazz Weekend with support from The Donofrio Family!

Before the show, get ready to play ball with the former Yankee himself!  A Charity Softball Game will be held at 1pm with Bernie and special guests DAVID CONE and BOBBY VALENTINE and players from the Danbury Westerners! Signed memorabilia by Bernie Williams, Mariano Rivera and other baseball greats will be available to bid on and 100.7fm WHUD’s morning personality Mike Bennett will do play by play announcing!

Join us in the lobby at 7:15pm enjoy an Italian wine tasting courtesy of Gallo Ristorante and an art exhibit by Andres Chaparro! Artist Cortney Wall will paint an original Bernie Williams canvas live during the reception & concert to be autographed by Bernie Williams and auctioned off for charities!

From Centerfield to Center Stage! Bernie Williams, the New York Yankees center fielder for 16 years, is best known for his long and storied career in pinstripes – a career that includes four World Series championships, five appearances on the American League All-Star Team, four Gold Glove Awards and the 1996 American League Championship Series Most Valuable Player Award. Since he’s hung up his cleats, he’s had time to devote to his other great passion in life – jazz guitar. Now that he’s out of the game, he’s getting back to his musical roots. The former slugger will be bringing his music back to Ridgefield with his All-Star Band!
