About the performer:
A native son of Detroit, Jon-Erik Kellso came to New York in 1989 to join Vince Giordano's Nighthawks and has since then become a leading trumpet player on the jazz scene. He performs on an international basis, and his recording credits number well over one hundred. He can be heard with the Nighthawks on the movie and television soundtracks for "The Aviator" and "Boardwalk Empire", among others. www.kellsojazz.com
