State Rep. John Frey & First Selectman Rudy Marconi Behind the Bar at Gallo in Honor of Anti-Bullying Month

State Rep John Frey and First Selectman Rudy Marconi Face Off as Celebrity Bartenders at Gallo to Help Fund Anti-Bullying Awareness Dinner on Thursday, September 28 from 5-9pm.

On Thursday, September 28th from 5pm-9:00pm at Gallo Restaurant, State Representative John Frey and First Selectman Rudy Marconi join with Don’t Be Silent and the Exchange Club of Ridgefield to honor Anti-Bullying Month. Raffles! Prizes! Fun Banter! Proceeds will help fund the upcoming Anti-Bullying Cocktail and Dinner Event at the Ridgefield Recreation Center

Vote on which of our celebrity bartenders concocted the best array of tasty drinks. Our sponsors, along with Gallo Restaurant, will match the winner's tips plus 10% of the dinner bills and bar tabs to help fund the Anti-Bullying Awareness Dinner event on October 21 at the Ridgefield Recreation Center from 6-10pm with Keynote Speakers, State Senator Toni Boucher on bullying legislation and Dr. David Bernstein, forensic psychiatrist, on the effects of bullying. Also speaking,  Birgitta Stone and Mona Thorpe.

The Anti-Bullying Awareness Dinner is black tie optional, and guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner catered by Gallo Restaurant, dancing and music from Bach to Rock with a live DJ., a live dance performance by Jennifer Conciatore of The Gym, comedic entertainment, Birgitta Stone of Local Social Media on cyber bullying, along with Mona Thorpe of Don’t Be Silent on the experience of bullying. Tickets are $150/pp. Tables of 8 are $1200 and tables of ten are $1500 Attendees who purchase 8/10 table receive recognition and/or advertising in our print and online material (deadline for this benefit is October 10, 2017 and is tax deductible).

These events are hosted to bring a deeper awareness of the pervasiveness of bullying, it's sometimes fatal consequences and what we can do as a community to help in bringing it to an end.
