Ridgefield's 5th Annual Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off is this Sunday, September 24 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in Ballard Park

Growers from around the region will compete for cash prizes. 

Pumpkin Weigh Off  will take place at noon followed by awards.

Fun will continue until 3:00 pm with these activities/events:

~ Kids Crafts & Activities
~ Pumpkin Carving Demonstration
~ Meet the Pumpkin Growers & Learn about Growing
~ Exhibitors, Shopping, Farm Stands, Baked Goods
~ Pumpkin Decorating Contest (see details below)
~ Pumpkin Carving Demonstration
~ Farm School: Meet & Learn About Farm Animals from Ridgefield's Henny Penny Farm and Guardians Farm
~ Music from 10 - 11:30 AM by School of Rock
~ Music from 12 - 3 PM by The Boondocks

Community Pumpkin Decorating Contest Details:
Bring a decorated pumpkin to the Weigh Off to enter a contest! Judging is from 11a - 1:45p by event attendees so be sure to drop off your pumpkin in the morning between 10-11a near the Chamber of Commerce tent. Winners will be announced to the crowd toward the end of the Weigh Off!
