ROAR/Blue Buffalo Furry Scurry Dog Festival planned for October 29 in Ridgefield

The Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue (ROAR) is pleased to announce the ROAR/Blue Buffalo Furry Scurry Dog Festival!  The festival will take place on Sunday, October 29th, 2017  at the Ridgefield Rec Center field located at 195 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, CT 06877.  This years event will kick-off with the very popular "Very Scary Furry Scurry" 2 mile walk/run and Kids' Ding Dong Dash at  10am , followed by the Furry Scurry Festival that will run from  11am-3pm.

The festival portion will be a kid and dog friendly festival full of games and activities, food trucks, live music, and tons of vendors!  For both the race and festival, we highly encourage adults, kids, and four-legged friends to be dressed in the Halloween spirit - ghostly ghouls may have prizes for those best dressed!

The ROAR/Blue Buffalo Furry Scurry Festival is being held to raise money in support of ROAR.  ROAR is a local animal shelter that was founded in 2000 committed to enhancing the bond between people and pets through education and community outreach and has placed almost 4,500 neglected and unwanted cats and dogs in caring homes throughout Ridgefield and surrounding towns.
