Alert to Ridgefield commuters headed to Saw Mill Parkway:
The Saw Mill River Parkway is closed northbound at Dobbs Ferry (Lawrence Street) following an early morning fatal accident as a car fell off the bridge at Ashford Ave. The car, a Camaro, driven by a single occupant, according to police, was apparently traveling at high speed. No word yet on when the Parkway will reopen.
