Feelin’ Dull and Edgy? Come to the Ridgefield Farmers' Market TODAY

Nick the Knife will be sharpening all forms of knives and cutlery; including chef's knives, Japanese knives, straight razors, scissors and barbers scissors, serrated knives, garden clippers, shears and snips, axes, machetes, shovels, scythes and even a sword or cutlass or two, TODAY, Thursday, September 18, from 2 p.m to 6 p.m. at the Ridgefield Farmers' Market at the Lounsbury House/Ridgefield Community Center.

The process is done with artisanal hand work using five degrees of abrasives including a stropping compound for a mirror finish to give your  knives a superbly sharp cutting edge. He can repair minor nicks and broken tips for a nominal fee.

Nick the Knife will have for sale special Sheng Fuiee Asian all-purpose High Carbon Steel chef's knives, as well as Japanese knives, heavy duty seamstress scissors and some specially selected restored High Carbon Steel super sharp chef's knives. He will also have some beautifully restored antique typewriters for those great writers, poets and lovers of Art Mecho Word machines.
