Orthopaedic Specialists of CT will present a seminar at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center, 642 Danbury Road (Rte 7), Ridgefield, titled, "Is Joint Replacement Right for You?" on Wed., September 18, at 11 AM.
This program is part of National Rehabilitation Awareness week with an emphasis on hip and knee replacements, which are among the most common surgical procedures with over a million joint replacements annually. The guest speaker is Dr. Sanjay K. Gupta, who is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with Orthopaedic Specialists of CT located in Brookfield, CT. He is Co-Director for the Joint Replacement Program and attending physician at Danbury Hospital (Western Connecticut Health Network) with expertise in adult hip and knee surgery. Dr. Gupta's special interests are in hip resurfacing and revision, minimally invasive joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery.
