Teachers and school administrators are invited to The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum on Thursday, April 24, to mingle with colleagues, meet Aldrich staff, and learn about the Museum's wide variety of innovative school programs and classroom resources.
The 5 p.m. event will include a guided tour of the new 50th Anniversary series of exhibitions, which highlight not just the Museum's legacy,
but also the relationship between the era in which it was founded and today's cultural landscape. Museum educators will emphasize curriculum connections to language, art, and science with the artwork on view.
This event is free, but educators are encouraged to register online at aldrichart.org/events/?id=1852. For more information, contact Danielle Ogden at 203.438.4519, extension 138, ordogden@aldrichart.org.
This program is presented in partnership with the Ridgefield Education Foundation. The Aldrich is located at 258 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877.
