UPDATE 9:45 AM- Improvement to power status in Ridgefield. CL&P reports 59 customers are without power at this time.
Heavy rain and high winds have caused some road and power issues this morning. CL&P reports 208 Ridgefield customers without at 7:00am.
The Ridgebury area has been hit hard. We have reports that there is no electricity on Spring Valley Road. The road, between Mopus Bridge and Chestnut Hill, has been shut down due to a downed tree and live wires.
