It was a year of openings in Ridgefield... From Prime Burger, elizabella's and Pure Bar on Main Street, to Sucré Salé & QUICHE ME in the Marketplace at Copps Hill, locals love new businesses. Perhaps, the most anticipated opening was that of the Ridgefield Running Company, owned by two Ridgefield runners, on Danbury Road. These are just a few of the openings in Ridgefield this year. The all new Ridgefield Running Company (RRC) invites you to a weekend of education, training, demonstrations and technology that will motivate you to move, keep you injury-free and have a darn good time running! All events are free!
Grand Opening Events
Thursday, October 16th
• 5:00-6:30 PM ~ Come celebrate with us at the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting. We will break the tape with the town!
• 6:30-8 pm ~ Turkey Trot Training Program Kick-off! Click here to learn more about this 6 week 5K FREE training program
Friday, October 17th
• Break the Fast with Brook's! Run happy with Brooks as we head out for a short run at 9:30 am. Show up as early as 9AM and Brook's tech rep, Jessica will fit you in a demo pair before we go out for a run followed by breakfast and give-aways on the back patio.
• Mizuno Mid-day! Mix up your mid-day with a demo shoes and short run with Casey from Mizuno. The mid-day event will begin at noon with the run leaving around 12:30. Say Sayonara, better yet, try one on! There will be refreshments, light snacks and giveaways on the back patio.
• All Day Friday! Stop in and chat with our brand representatives, demo, learn, shop or just come by and say hi, we'd love to see you!
Saturday, October 18th
RRC is teaming up with local businesses that love health and wellness as much as we do. Reserve the morning for a run, post-race activities and refreshments on the RRC back patio.
