Registration for the 2015 RGS Rec/House and 2015 RGS Rebels Travel Fall Ball leagues are now open on the RGS website.
Space is limited to 13 players per team. Once teams are filled, players will be placed on a waiting list. Registration will close on September 1st.
Our fall ball program is specifically designed for girls who love softball, want to gain more experience and have fun. Coaches will focus primarily on player development, skills and instruction. We are offering two leagues this fall season: RGS Rec/House Fall Ball for 8U, 10U & 12U divisions and RGS Rebels Travel for 12U & 14U divisions.
Both fall ball leagues will run from early September through late October/early November.

Tournaments will be less than one hour from Ridgefield and will only be on weekends.

Dates and times of Softball Tryouts:
Tryouts for the 2016 Ridgefield Rebels 10U, 12U, and 14U teams will be held on Saturday, August 15th at Shadow Lake Field (200 Shadow Lake Road). The second tryout date will be Saturday, August 22nd with the same division times below.
- 10U player evaluations will run from 10:00AM - 11:30AM
- 12U player evaluations will run from 12:00PM - 2:00PM
- 14U player evaluations will run from 2:00PM - 4:00PM

Ridgefield Girls Softball (RGS) operates under the national Babe Ruth Softball charter. RGS, using regulation competitive softball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play, as well as, developing strong friendships among our players.

Ridgefield Girls Softball has a Rec/House division playing in the 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U age levels. The Rebels Travel division competes in the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U age levels. All play during the months of April through July, as well as, fall ball in September and October.
