Colbie Caillat recently came to Ridgefield. No, she wasn't performing at The Ridgefield Playhouse.
But it was her Ridgefield Playhouse performance last year that got her hooked. "We [Colbie & boyfriend] decided to stop by on our way to Maine, we like the town so much," she told Debbie Prieger, owner of The West Lane Inn.
Prieger told us that Colbie checked into the Inn in evening, she and her boyfriend went into town for dinner, and before leaving for Maine, Colbie went for a run in downtown Ridgefield.
Kudos to the Ridgefield Playhouse for bringing Colbie to town, and for attracting people near and far, celebs and non-celebs, to Ridgefield - to play and stay in our quintessential New England town.
And thanks to The West Lane Inn for their comfortable hospitality and ideal location in the heart of Ridgefield.
