Help Make the 2016 RHS Graduation Celebration Fun & Safe!

Ridgefield’s parents, townspeople and businesses have always shown a wonderful community spirit in supporting local activities.

Since 1983, one of those activities has been the Annual RHS Post Graduation Party. This event provides a wholesome and safe environment where our children can celebrate a momentous occasion in their lives and is the highlight of senior year and a true rite of passage at Ridgefield High School. It is an all night, parent chaperoned, alcohol-free event held at the Ridgefield Parks and Rec Center.

There is NO CHARGE to the graduating seniors to attend this event. The Post Grad Committee raises all the funds to meet the cost of this party.  Although the senior parents typically account for 70% of the funds raised, the committee depends on the rest of the funds to be donated by the RHS Community.

What can I do to help?

1. Cash Donation – Send a TAX DEDUCTABLE check to the Post Grad Committee and ask your employer for a “matching gift” donation. We suggest a $100 donation, but no gift is too small or too large! Donations made early in the year are helpful to our planning process, so please make your donation TODAY!

You can also donate HERE via PayPal.

Send a check payable to “RHS PTSA – Post Grad”, include your child’s name and grade, and send it to PO Box 868, Ridgefield, CT 06877.

2. Donate a Prize – We gladly accept donations of prizes for our graduating seniors. Hint: Use credit card points to purchase items or gift cards to stores such as BestBuy and Bed, Bath & Beyond. The kids love gift cards! Contact us to arrange for pick-up or delivery of your donation.

Please help us make this year’s RHS Post Graduation Party the safest and most successful yet!
