RHS soccer coach resigns for WCSU position

After three years as the Ridgefield High School Girls Varsity Soccer Coach, Alex Harrison has resigned to become the new head women's soccer coach at Western Connecticut State University (WCSU). Harrison has been an assistant in the WCSU program for five years.

During his brief tenure in Ridgefield, Harrison led the team to a FCIAC Championship (2015) and to both the semi-finals (2014) and finals (2015) of the Class LL State Championship.

No replacement has been named.
