Many college students from Ridgefield receive accolades

Many from Ridgefield have been named to their college of university's dean/president's list.  

Hofstra University congratulates Angela DiGiovanni and Megan Tewes named to the Spring 2016 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List.

Randy Deng and Ryan Konopka earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2016 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Maya Salamon has been named to the President's List at Clemson University for the spring 2016 semester. Salamon is majoring in Accounting. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Clare MellingerErin A. Purvis and Seth Michael Von Kuhn have been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the spring 2016 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Brianna Buthorn was among 1,600 students named to The University of Scranton Dean's List, which recognizes students for academic excellence during the 2016 spring semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the spring semester to make the Dean's List.

Drew BedardVictor Quartucio and Joseph Zimmerman were named to the Spring 2016 Dean's List at The University of Albany. Students named to the Dean's List earned at least a 3.5 GPA.

Stephanie Gutman and Clara Howley attained Dean's List at Lehigh University for the Spring 2016 semester. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Heather Rankine and Hana Nielsen have been named to the University of Vermont's Dean's List for the spring 2016 semester. Students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Renee Griffith and William Winders have made the Spring Semester 2016 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University. To qualify for the Dean's List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.
