Wall Street Journal Boasts About Ridgefield

Today's Wall Street Journal spotlights Ridgefield in an article titled, Ridgefield, Conn., Is Far From the New York Crowd. "Fairfield County town is known for its old-fashioned Main Street, lakes, horse farms, art museum and rich history," the article by Bill Cary states. Read it here.

Capturing quotes from locals including Dan Briody, Gian-Carlo Peressutti, and Laura Freed Ancona, the article talks about our town's rich history, real estate market, culture and parks; specifically mentioning The Prospector Theater, The Ridgefield Playhouse, Theater Barn, and The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum.

Many local dining venues are highlighted including 850 Wood Fired Restaurant, Luc's and Bernard's. "850 Degrees Wood Fired Restaurant is a family-friendly pizza place. Housed in a restored 19th-century inn, Bernard’s has French fare and an upstairs wine bar," states Cary.

Of course we didn't need the Wall Street Journal to tell us how great our town was...but great to hear nonetheless!
