When SPHERE & Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance Meet Funk Happens

When SPHERE and Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance unite, magic happens

Last Thursday night, Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance’s Garrett Minniti, Alexander Glaz and their dancers brought some Uptown Funk to SPHERE’s Music & Performing Arts Program unleashing SPHERE’s inner groove and rad rhythm. Don't believe, me just watch (come on & click HERE).

“Teaching dance to SPHERE members is a joy for us; they have embraced dance — and us — with great enthusiasm and dedication. The SPHERE members greet me each week eager to learn,” said Amy Piantaggini, RCD Artistic Director.

“All of us at SPHERE are so grateful for our relationship with the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance,” says Kim Pereira, Director of Music and Art at SPHERE. “Amy, along with her students, has introduced our members—most for the first time in their lives—to the experience of modern dance. We’ve had the opportunity to explore and extend our abilities through movement,” adds Pereira.

Through their fun and creative Thursday night dance extravaganzas, to their choreographed dance ensembles on the Ridgefield Playhouse stage, SPHERE and Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance have created a beautiful bond built on everlasting friendship and joyous movement.

The Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dance school, offering programs for the youngest dancers through high school. For information on summer programs: ridgefielddance.org, information@ridgefielddance.org, or 203-438-5597.
