Colby College Student Ava M. Colarusso of Ridgefield, Conn., Returns from Studying in France

Ridgefield High School graduate Ava M. Colarusso recently returned from spending the fall semester in Dijon, France to Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Colby's Global Entry Semester program in Dijon, France, provides academically rigorous experiences that fulfill Colby's foreign language requirement. Through university classes and social interaction, including a home stay with a local family, students gain a global perspective and a better understanding of the complexities of another culture.

Founded in 1813, Colby is one of America's most selective colleges and the first previously all-male college in New England to admit women.

Best of luck, Ava!
