RHS grad selected in the fourth round of the Major League Lacrosse Draft

Former Boston University and Ridgefield High School men's lacrosse standout Cal Dearth was selected in the fourth round of the Major League Lacrosse Draft on Sunday afternoon.
 
Dearth became the first Terrier in program history to be drafted into the MLL when the Charlotte Hounds selected him in the fourth round with the 31st overall pick. A USILA Honorable Mention All-American this past season, Dearth excelled at both midfield and attack for the Terriers during his outstanding career. He finished 2017 with single-season program records for goals (38) and points (57) while also tallying 19 assists. Dearth posted at least one point in all 17 games and graduated BU with the program record for goals (83), assists (70) and points (153).
