Important CHIRP Concert Parking Information

This week's CHIRP Concert take place on Tuesday evening, June 13, and feature Birds of Chicago in Ballard Park. The weather promises to cooperate and allow us to hold the first outdoor concert of the season.

This season we are requesting that all who enjoy the concerts observe new parking regulations that will allow our merchants to continue to serve their patrons while allowing concert goers numerous parking options.

Parking in the CVS parking lot will be restricted to the handicapped, the elderly and business patrons.

NEW this year - drivers will be allowed to drop off their passengers, chairs, and coolers at the park entrance (inside the CVS lot) before parking their vehicles in the designated lots on Governor and Bailey Avenue. On-line locations are available here.

Other lots in town are for the patrons of the businesses.

Please do not use the Library or Prospector Theater parking lots or others reserved for business patrons..

It is important that we strike a reasonable balance between the needs of our businesses, the residents and visitors that wish to shop and dine in town on the evenings of the concerts and all that enjoy a wonderful tradition of concerts in the park. Of course all of our businesses would welcome concert attendees to shop and dine with them before or after the concerts. And many of your favorite local restaurants will prepare takeout meals for you to pick up before you attend a concert.

Please enjoy the 15th year of a Ridgefield tradition with free concerts on Tuesday and Thursday (after 6/29) evenings throughout the summer.
