Ridgefield Public Schools announce new digital phone system, Board of Ed meeting, first day of school, Open House & more!
The new digital phone system installation is complete; our main numbers are the same, but all personnel have new extensions. Central office staff are trained on the new system and you may use this link to access the new central office extensions. Teachers will gain access and receive training starting August 28th; please use email to contact them in the meantime. We will continue to update our websites throughout the month with our new 4 digit extensions.
The first Board of Education meeting is Monday, August 28th. The full schedule has been posted to the BOE page on our website for your reference.
Our first day of school for kindergarten-9th grade is Thursday, August 31st, and our 10th-12th graders begin on Friday, September 1st. The parent-student Power School portal is now open for RHS students. Elementary and middle school portal access will reopen on/about August 21st. Bus schedules will be available on Power School on August 20th.
Be sure and review the revised 2017-18 school year district calendar, approved by the Board of Education on June 26th with the additional half-day professional development days, and updated on July 12th to reflect the November parent-teacher conferences.
